Russ reports the new driver program is going well.  Many new drivers this year.

Russ and Ken McCullough now both taking event pictures for the website.

Site report.  Possibility that after next June Atwater may no longer be available as a site.  AAS may be interested in some Stockton dates.  Also GGF may go away as a site.  Oakland probably ok for next year but plans to put in a parking garage may result in loss of that site at some point.

Russ will get an address to send payment to the storage yard for the trailer.

Bob working on software for in-trailer timing display.

Cup 9&10 went smoothly.  Jay Williams was the event chair.

Enduro also went well.  Saturday ran a little late.  Sunday started at 8am and finished earlier.

We donated our old PA to AAS.  They thanked us.  They also took the card sorter box that Art Allen donated to us.   Rick Brown will talk to them to see if we can get it returned.

New Business

No board meeting in December.

Russ talks about the street tire class.  This is making this run group too large.  Around 18 cars currently in the class.  SS and SM are currently the largest street tire class.  We will look into rebalancing the run groups.

Discussed modifications to protest procedures based on experiences this year.  No changes contemplated at this time.

Russ Backman proposed criteria for determining most improved driver winners.  Method approved (7 0 0).  Will have trophy for most improved open and most improved ladies.

Banquet Saturday Nov. 5.  58 people have signed up for the banquet.  Expect approximately 100 people.  Same menu as last year.  Bar will be inside the room.  They donít take credit cards however an ATM machine is nearby.  Ordered jackets and shirts.  Jackets are maroon.  Will have one giveaway item this year; blanket with logo.  Ray will handle the wine procurement.  Setup at 3:30.

Wireless PA microphone is working well except battery life is short.  We will explore possibility of finding longer life batteries.

Moved to adjourn. (Approved.  Adjourned 10:24  pm).

Respectfully Submitted,
